Azores On Travel reserves the right to refuse transportation of people who present themselves under the influence of alcohol or drugs that can influence the performance of the activity and upset others customers. Is not allowed to smoking or drinking alcoholic in our vehicles.
Azores On Travel is not responsible for lost or forgotten objects outside or inside of our vehicles.
Your airport transfer will always be made according with your booking requested. It can be in shuttle in private or VIP. Changes or reschedule is allowed and can be made by email until 24 hours of the service.
Baby seats, children seat and infant chair must be requested when booking.
If the flight is delayed there is no need to worry. We always check your flight status directly with the airport and will wait until you arrive. The driver will meet you in the arrivals area holding a sign with your name and will provide one envelop with local information.
Departure transfer should be scheduled 2 hours before the flight according with your hotel distance. In case of losing the flight, Azores On Travel is not responsible.
Is possible to book airport transfers until 24 hours before start. Less than 24 hours please contact us.
All the prices are for services starting in city center of each island and will be made in vehicles shared with other customers, except when requested private. The language is only in Portuguese or English. All the island tours and activities require a minimum of two participants in order to be made. If we don’t get the minimum required, tours will be re-scheduled according to the customer or will be refunded in the same way in which payments have been received. All the tours includes hotel pickup. Extra fee of 5,00 € per person is applied for hotels outside the city center until 15 km.
Children Policy: until 2 years old is free. From 3 to 10 years have 50% discount payable directly. Please do not book children’s until 10 years old. Leave us a note that you are travelling with them when booking.
Customer Responsibilities and Obligations
The customer should be at the reception of the hotel 15 minutes before the pre-set time and must have a booking copy. The no-show at pre-set time allow the continuity of the tour or airport transfer without the customer and without the right of being refunded. The client must respect the timetables and the instructions given by the driver / guide during the tour or airport transfer.
Under no circumstances the Azores On Travel is responsible for the weather conditions or the non-visibility of any point of interest due the weather. All the activities and tours are subject to weather conditions and may change for customer benefit, may be reschedule or canceled whenever the meteorological conditions do not allow safety conditions. In case of cancellation due the weather conditions, tour will be rescheduled and will only be made refunds to the customers who travel in the other day by showing airplane ticket, being the unique plausible justification for refund.
All the prices includes unlimited kilometers, all taxes and fees. Azores On Travel do not guarantee brands and models of the selected vehicle, but the same or similar type of vehicle. 1 Day rent is 24 hours starting from the pick-up time. When booking is made and paid you will be informed the office to pick-up.
High Season is subject to availability. (June, July, August and September).
Any booking made on the website www.azoresontravel.com will be confirmed by email and only after the payment being received.
If you do not receive your booking or our confirmation please check your “SPAM” mailbox or contact us by phone or email.
When booking, the customer should complete all required fields on the form and report the existence of any physical limitations or any special care.
If you detect any problem when booking, please contact us immediately.
When booking online, payment should be made through paypal, bank transfer or by credit card. Is fully safe to use your credit card in our website. If you check our URL is secure. Direct payment is not available in order to avoid no-shows or delays.
Bookings may be canceled without penalties until 72 hours before the beginning of the tour or the airport transfer.
Cancellations with less than 72 hours are non-refundable.
Any Car Rental booking is non-refundable. Is refundable only in case of overbooking.

According to Portuguese law, is mandatory that all passengers are insured. During our activities all passengers are insured by the insurance company “Allianz”.
